Florian Raditsch was born in 1987 in central California where he grew up near Yosemite National Park. He studied fine arts in New Mexico and at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna.

In his work, Raditsch explores cultural and socio-political themes, including questions of identity that arise specifically in border regions. His pastel works and large-format drawings, for which he employs a unique technique with charcoal pencils, have been exhibited in the USA, Austria and Germany. In Raditsch’s exhibitions, he uses drawings, objects and paints murals to create cross-spatial installations presenting new narratives for socially relevant issues. The compositions and range of colors of his presentations reference artistic positions of the avant-garde. His work is also to be seen as research in the field of cultural and art history.
